Villa Cyrnos

Villa Cyrnos is a Belle Epoque villa in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the French Riviera, built in 1892 to a design by Hans-Georg Tersling for Eugenie de Montijo, widow of Napoleon III and the last Empress consort of the French. It became a fashionable retreat whose guests included Empress Elisabeth of Austria and Queen Victoria, who visited annually, before passing to Marie-Laetitia Bonaparte in 1920, to Norberto Fischer in 1926, and then to his widow, the opera singer Vina Bovy, who sold it in 1960.
