Villa della Regina is a palace in Turin, in the Piedmont region of Italy, begun in 1615 to a design by Ascanio Vitozzi for the House of Savoy on a hillside above the city in what was then semi rural countryside. Carlo and Amedeo di Castellamonte continued the work after Vitozzi's death, and Filippo Juvarra later refurbished the palace and its gardens. It was inscribed by UNESCO in 1997 as part of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy, with the listing extended in 2010. The palace now operates as a public museum, open to visitors whose admission helps fund its maintenance.
