Villa Filipstad is a nineteenth-century villa at Munkedamsveien 62 in Oslo, Norway, completed in 1864 for banker Jorgen Haslev Heftye, whose family had owned the site since 1805, to a design by architect Georg Andreas Bull. Set prominently atop a crag in the Filipstad district, the villa has been compared to the Oscarshall mansion across the Frognerkilen inlet. From 1909 the Norwegian State Railways used it as the residence of its director-general, and it has since housed the Norwegian Directorate for Public Libraries and the company Mantena under the management of the Bane NOR subsidiary Rom Eiendom.
