Villa Massei is a sixteenth century hunting lodge on a sixty acre estate at Massa Macinaia, in the commune of Capannori near Lucca, Italy, built around 1500 for the Counts Sinibaldi and later inherited by the Marchesi Massei family in the eighteenth century. In the 1950s it was home to Lionel Fielden, founder of All India Radio. Gil Cohen and Paul Gervais, a couple from Boston, bought the villa in 1981 and developed its grounds into gardens praised as a recreation of a Renaissance garden, drawing hundreds of visitors each year, and the property was sold to a Dutch family in 2014.
