Villa Monastero is a historic villa in Varenna, in the Province of Lecco on the shore of Lake Como. Today it houses a botanical garden, a museum and a convention center, and its grounds preserve period architecture and furniture, works of art, and an extensive park that runs along the lake to the Fiumelatte stream beneath tall cypress trees and many species of exotic plants.
