Villa Noailles is an early modernist house in the hills above Hyeres, in southeastern France, built between 1923 and 1928 by the architect Robert Mallet Stevens for the art patrons Charles and Marie Laure de Noailles. Its International Style design and roughly 1,800 square meter interior made it a gathering place for modern artists and designers through the 1920s and 1930s, and the house appeared as a filming location in Man Ray's surrealist work. The commune of Hyeres purchased the villa in 1973 and renovated it in 1991 and 1997, and it now operates as an arts center and exhibition venue.
