Villa Parisi

Villa Parisi is a villa near Monte Porzio Catone, formerly part of Frascati, Italy, built in 1604 and 1605 for Monsignor Fernando Taverna and acquired in 1615 by Cardinal Scipione Borghese, whose architect Girolamo Rainaldi later added a nymphaeum and portal. It served as the summer residence of Princess Pauline Bonaparte and the Borghese family after renovations commissioned by Camillo Borghese in 1729, and the entrepreneur Savero Parisi purchased the estate in 1896. Still a private villa not open to the public, its grounds also hold the remains of an ancient Roman villa, and the property has since been used as a filming location for several movies.
