Wembley Stadium is an association football stadium in Wembley, London, England, that opened in 2007 on the site of the original Wembley Stadium, which stood from 1923 to 2000. As England's national football stadium, it hosts most England national team home matches and the FA Cup Final, the showpiece of English domestic club football, and it is owned by the Football Association, English football's governing body, whose headquarters are housed there through its subsidiary Wembley National Stadium Ltd. With 90,000 seats it is the largest stadium in the United Kingdom and the second largest in Europe, after Barcelona's Camp Nou.
