East Farm (Head of the Harbor, New York)

Residential Buildings

East Farm, also known as the Archibald M. Brown Estate, is a historic district at Head of the Harbor in Suffolk County, New York, whose land traces to 1689 and whose main farmhouse, a wood-framed, clapboarded Colonial dwelling built for the Smith family around 1690, was substantially enlarged in 1910 by its architect-owner. The property retains seven contributing buildings and one site, including a barn with shed, a milk house, two cottages, a barn-garage complex and an intact formal garden. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 9, 1993. Has Building Type

Farm, Concepts

Entity-backed identity for the building-type enum value this building already carries, resolved to an architecture concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The building-type fact itself stays on the building unchanged.
