Casa de la Sirena

Casa de la Sirena, also known as Casa de la Serena, Casa de la Torre or Casa de los Ferragud, is a Renaissance and Baroque manor palace in the Valencian orchard, in the municipality of Alfara del Patriarca, Spain, bordering the neighboring urban area of Benifaraig. Built between the 16th and 18th centuries, the residential palace takes its name from a carved figure with the head of a woman and the body of a serpent surrounding its coat of arms, dated 1553 by an inscription on the shield. It was declared a Bien de Interes Cultural, an Asset of Cultural Interest, in 2004, but is currently abandoned, in need of restoration, and included on the Red List of Endangered Heritage.
