The Haus zur Goldenen Waage is a medieval half-timbered house in the old town of Frankfurt am Main, standing in front of the main entrance of the cathedral at the corner of the narrow Hoellgasse, which leads from the cathedral square to the Roemerberg and Altstadtgasse. It was destroyed in the air raid of 22 March 1944, but because of its architectural and historic value it is counted among the most famous sights of the city.
