The Lloyd's building is the home of the insurance institution Lloyd's of London, standing on the former site of East India House at the corner of Lime Street and Leadenhall Street in the City of London. It is a leading example of Bowellism, an architectural approach in which a building's services, such as ducts and lifts, are placed on the exterior to maximize interior space.
