The Norris Geyser Basin Museum is one of a series of trailside museums in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming designed by the architect Herbert Maier in the National Park Service Rustic style. It was built between 1929 and 1930 on the Grand Loop Road between two geothermal basins, with two rectangular sections joined by a breezeway and a prominent log framed jerkinhead gable. The museum exhibits cover geothermal geology and thermal ecosystems, and an adjacent historic comfort station now serves as a bookstore run by the Yellowstone Association.
